New Man Faces Newport

...when a Pilgrims' Development XI hosts Newport County at Home Park.

The Pilgrims' squad for the Final Third Development League is a mix of professionals - including Marvin Morgan, Jason Banton, Nathan Thomas and newest recruit Ryan, who penned an 18-month deal last week after leaving Bristol Rovers - and apprentices.

Argyle are currently fourth with one point in the southern group B of the Final Third Development League having drawn their opening fixture against Portsmouth, while visitors Newport are top of the table on seven points.

The Exiles have won all three of their games following last week’s 3-1 victory over the other team in the four-club group, Cheltenham Town.

There is no age restriction on the competition, although the primary focus is on players under the age of 21.

The match kicks off at 2pm and admission is free to Argyle Club Members, or £3 for adults and £1 for concessions.
