Reading Between The Lines
15th July 2015
THE Green Army will have their first chance to see Derek Adams in action at Home Park as the new Argyle boss...
...and to run the rule over his summer signings, as The Pilgrims will host Reading's under-21 side on Saturday, July 25.Academy Head Eamonn Dolan, a former Exeter City player and manager, will bring the young Royals to Home Park following a very successful 2014-15 season. Reading's under-21s were promoted into the top division of the Premier League under-21 structure; the previous season they won the Premier League under-21 cup.
Reading's first-team has featured 32 players that have graduated from their Academy this century, including Gylfi Sigurdsson, Simon Cox and Alex McCarthy. Dozens of other players have left the Academy to feature prominently elsewhere, including our own Carl McHugh and Southampton forward Shane Long.
Tickets for the game will cost just £6 for adults and £3 for concessions. Ticket prices will rise on the day of the game by £2.
