Andy in the Middle
1st March 2015
ANDY Haines will be the referee when Argyle meet Stevenage on Tuesday night.
Andy's last game in charge of Argyle was in December 2013, in a 2-0 defeat at Chesterfield. In eventful game, Haines awarded two penalties - one to each side - and sent off Spireites debutant Matt Brown.
Making his Football League debut in 2007, Andy has taken charge of Argyle six times in all. Two of those games have been on a Tuesday night - once at Preston in 2009, once at Macclesfield in 2012 - and on both occasions the scoreline finished 1-1.
This season Andy has refereed 20 games, issuing 52 yellow cards in all, and sending off three players. Last season, in 33 games, he showed a red card 11 times.
Andy will be assisted by Akil Howson and John O'Brien. Daniel Leach is the fourth official.
