Michael in the Middle

MICHAEL Bull will be the referee of Argyle's clash with Oxford United at the Kassam Stadium on Saturday.

Michael has refereed an Argyle just once before, taking charge of our 2-1 home win against Bury last season. In that game Michael cautioned four players, including Durrell Berry and goalscorer Caolan Lavery. 

Michael progressed from refereeing Blue Square Premier games in 2007-8, and despite taking two seasons out is now a regular Football League ref. Michael has taken control of five Sky Bet Championship games, but has mostly refereed in Leagues 1 and 2. 

So far this season Michael has managed 25 games, dishing out 72 yellows and seven reds.
