Lions in the JPT

ARGYLE have been drawn at home to Millwall in the Southern Area Quarter Final of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.

The game will take place during the week commencing November 9. We will release ticket details as soon as we have them.

Millwall are currently mid-table in Sky Bet League 1, having been relegated from the Championship last season. They are managed by club legend Neil Harris. Former Pilgrims plying their trade at the den include Jimmy Abdou, Paris Cowan-Hall and Lee Martin.

We have played Millwall in 114 of our 5,000 competitive matches; we have played only Bristol Rovers and Brentford more frequently in our history. The last time we met was in August 2011, when a very inexperienced Argyle side lost 1-0 to the Lions in the first round of the League Cup.

Prior to that, the two clubs were in the same league for two seasons in the Championship, with three out of four games being drawn, and the other ending in a Millwall victory. The last time we won against Millwall was a 3-0 win in December 1997 thanks to goals from Simon Collins, Carlo Corrazin and Chris Billy.
