City in the JPT

ARGYLE have been drawn to play Exeter City at home in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy second round.

The draw, which was made by Charlie Austin on Sky Sports' Soccer AM, pits the Devon rivals against each other for the third time in six seasons. Exeter progressed to the next round on those two occasions, winning 2-1 at Home Park in 2010-11, then prevailing in a penalty shoot-out after a 1-1 draw at St James Park in 2011-12.

Two seasons ago, Exeter did the double over us, winning both League fixtures, but Argyle hit back last season, prevailing both times, in an aggregate score of 6-1.

The JPT tie will take place in the week commencing October 5. Ticket prices and availability will be announced in due course.
