Take Comfort

ARGYLE travel to struggling Millbrook in the Peninsula League on Saturday and all signs point to a comfortable three points.

The Pilgrims are riding high in the Division 1 West, while Millbrook are yet to record a point in the division this season, but football is never that comfortable.

“This League doesn’t work like that and football doesn’t work like that,” said Head Coach Kevin Nancekivell. “It is the same as ever in terms of preparation and we treat every game in the same way.

“Millbrook will be up for it, just like every other club we face in this League. We will have to be at our best to get any points but we are benefiting from a clean bill of health with regard to the Academy and Community Trust players.

“From the pros, Ryan Lane has a slight knock, so we’re waiting to see on his availability. When it comes to our usage of pro players, the gaffer will tell us who he would like to play on a Thursday or Friday and we work around that."
