On Their Bikes
23rd April 2016
THE Argyle Community Trust's Pedal 4 Pounds cyclists...
...make their triumphant return to Home Park today after three grueling days in the saddle.
The riders started their mission at Swansea City on Sunday morning and have since visited Cardiff City, Newport County, Bristol City and Rovers, Yeovil Town, Exeter City and Torquay United.
After covering hundreds of miles, the riders are scheduled to wheel their tired bodies through the Green gates at Home Park between 12.30-1pm.
If there any friends, family and supporters around PL2 at that time, it would be wonderful to give the riders the reception they deserve after undertaking a huge physical and mental challenge, and a great way to get in the mood for our massive game against Dagenham & Redbridge this afternoon.
Pedal 4 Pounds is raising money for the Chestnut Appeal for Prostate Cancer, as well as supporting the Argyle Community Trust and the Green Taverners’ good causes.
The 2015 Pedal 4 Pounds event raised £13,900 for charity and the ambition for this year is to smash this record.
