LEE Collins is set to take charge of Saturday's Sky Bet League Two opener against Luton Town.
Collins is about to start his sixth season as a League referee, having been promoted to the League referee's list in 2011. His last time refereeing an Argyle game was our trip to Yeovil in February, a 0-0 draw at Home Park. He handed out six yellow cards that evening, dishing out three to each side. His last time in charge of a game at Home Park was in September 2014, a 1-0 defeat to Wycombe which saw four yellow cards in the game.
Lee took charge of 23 games last season in total, in competitions ranging from League Two to the Championship. He gave out 85 yellows in total, just under four per game, a fairly modest total. He only gave out three red cards.
Lee was born in Surrey and has taken charge of five Argyle games in his career so far, one per season. Notably, he sent off Conor Hourihane in an FA Cup match against Dorchester in 2012.
