Nance Likes NIrn Brew

ARGYLE Academy Head of Coaching Kevin Nancekivell had every right to...

...be pleased after watching his young side completely outplay Colombian side Alset in their opening Northern Ireland SuperCup game.

"Three points in the bag; a real confidence-booster for us; goals, to boot - all in all, it was a good day," said a beaming Kevin (pictured above).

Kevin gave game-time to most of his squad . he said: "It was like for like as the squad is very competitive and everyone is fighting for their place.

"We also had some quality finishing and hopefully there will be more of that to come, but it wouldn't be fair to pick out individuals as this was a real team effort.

"It was a good start and we can now go back and look at the match and analyse it before resting and recovering ready for our next game against Rangers."

That match =- which is likely to attract a crowd in the hundreds - takes place on Tuesday, July 26, at Limavady, where kick-off is 7pm.
