Fixtures 2016-17 - The Run-In
22nd June 2016
THE run-in to the 2016-17 Sky Bet League Two season will see Argyle playing four of their last six fixtures away from home.
In fact, just four of the last 11 games will take place at Home Park, with the final game taking place at Grimsby Town on Saturday, May 6.
March trips to Mansfield (Sat, March 11), Wycombe (Tues, March 14) and Doncaster (Sat, March 25) are interspersed with a home game on Saturday, March 18, against Morecambe.
April begins with a home game against Accrington (Sat, April 1) before consecutive weekends visiting teams in the south. We head to Crawley on Saturday, April 8, and then are scheduled to go to Portsmouth on Saturday, April 15. That, however, is the Saturday of Easter weekend, and could well be brought forward to Good Friday. We will let you know as soon as we have information.
Easter Monday (April 17) sees Newport County visit Home Park, before a trip to Colchester United on Saturday, April 22.
The penultimate game of the season – and final home fixture – is against Crewe Alexandra on Saturday, April 29, before the final day jaunt to the east coast to meet the Mariners.
All fixtures are subject to confirmation.
