WITH only 10 games to go Plymouth Argyle manager Derek Adams wants his players to give their all for a strong finish to their already impressive season.
Starting with Luton Town at home this Saturday, the Pilgrims have their fate in their own hands, occupying third position as all the promotion contenders prepare for the final run-in.
“We have 10 games to go and we need to get going and really finish the season strongly. If we do that then we’ll finish in a really good position,” explained Derek.
"From our point of view we’re in a very good position. We’re in a position where at the start of the season I don’t think many people thought we would be in but we’ve got a good squad here. We’ve put ourselves in a place where we want to be.
“At this stage in the season to have a gap of three points to Bristol Rovers (in fourth place) and three points to second place Oxford. We just want to increase the gap between the fourth placed team and try and catch Oxford. They’ve played a game more than us so we’ve got a game in hand.
“We’ve got to win as many games as the other team and winning more than the teams below us!”
