Play-off Dates

ARGYLE will play Portsmouth in the Sky Bet League 2 play-off semi-final on Thursday, May 12 and Sunday, May 15.

The Football League have now confirmed these dates for the clashes between the Pilgrims and Pompey, although the order in which the teams will have home advantage is yet to be determined. 

The team that finishes higher in the table will be at home in the second leg, having traveled to their opponents three days previous. 

Both sides currently have 78 points with one game remaining, though Portsmouth are above Argyle because of their superior goal difference. Argyle are at home to Hartlepool this Saturday, while Pompey host champions Northampton. 

If Argyle finish fifth, the fixtures will be as follows:
Portsmouth v Argyle, Fratton Park, Thursday, May 12, 7.45pm. 
Argyle v Portsmouth, Home Park, Sunday, May 15, 6pm.

If Argyle finish sixth, the fixtures will be as follows:
Argyle v Portsmouth, Home Park, Thursday, May 12, 7.45pm.
Portsmouth v Argyle, Fratton Park, Sunday, May 15, 6pm.
