Argyle Ladies 5 Brislington 1
3rd October 2016
ARGYLE Ladies’ showed great character to produce a very fine victory over Brislington, despite not being at their best for long periods of the game.
The two sides were level at the break, with Dani Barr’s opening goal for the Pilgrims being cancelled out by a Kim Maggs leveller. It took four goals in the final 20 minutes – from Molly Taylor, Natasha Knapman, Ebony Dover and Katie Middleton – to pull away from a tiring Brislington side, and give the Pilgrims a fifth consecutive league win.
Argyle have a 100% record in the F.A. Women's Premier League South West Division One, and are just one point behind leaders Chichester, who have played one game more.
The Pilgrims’ next fixture is against Exeter City, at Cullompton, on Wednesday, October 5. Kick-off is at 7.30pm.
