Officially Dean

DEAN Whitestone will be the man in charge of this Saturday's Sky Bet League Two clash between Argyle and Exeter City at St James Park.

Dean is an experienced referee, in his 12th season in the EFL. His first game in charge of Argyle was in November 2006, when Leeds won 2-1 at Home Park.

He has officiated Argyle eight times in total, with the Pilgrims winning four of those matches, including the last three.

Whitestone's last time in charge of us was last season, in a 3-2 win over York City at Home Park. Two penalties were awarded that day, with Reuben Reid converting for Argyle, and former Pilgrim Luke Summerfield for York.

This season, Dean has refereed nine games, awarding 25 yellow cards, and no reds.
