Peninsula Report - Argyle 7 Helston 0

SIZZLING stuff from Plymouth Argyle and a thumping win moved the Greens top of the Peninsula Premier Division.

The Pilgrims controlled possession throughout and the Helston resistance broken on 24 minutes thanks to a terrific solo effort from Billy Craske and Luke Jephcott doubled the lead from the very next attack.

Helston kept battling away but any hopes of an unlikely comeback ended with an own goal from Kegan McPhilbin on the stroke of half-time.

Argyle cruised through the second period with Jephcott completing his hat-trick in between a straight red card for Helston’s Phil Cattran. There was still time for Sam Ryan and a fourth for Jephcott on a satisfying day for Argyle.
