Officially Kevin
30th January 2017
KEVIN Johnson will take charge of the Greens on Tuesday for the first time since a collision with Argyle front man Jimmy Spencer, which left him laid out on the Home Park turf last November.
Kevin officiated Argyle’s home meeting with Colchester earlier this season, but after an accidental tangle with Jimmy, had to be taken off the pitch on a stretcher in the second half. Kevin suffered neck ligament damage, and was kept overnight in hospital that evening.
Thankfully, after a month out of officiating, Kevin returned to action in December. Tuesday’s Sky Bet League Two clash with Yeovil will see Kevin officiate the Greens for the first time since the incident.
Despite a month out this season, Kevin has still officiated 19 games this campaign. In that time, he has dished out 57 yellow cards and two reds.
Kevin has officiated three Argyle games prior to the Colchester encounter, with two draws and one loss for the Pilgrims.
