SuperCupNI Semi
ARGYLE'S Under-15s face Northern Ireland side County Londonderry in the semi-finals of the SuperCupNI Salver competition on Thursday at midday.
The tournament has seen the young Pilgrims feature in three group games so far, with an opening 2-0 victory against County Tyrone on Monday; a 4-1 defeat to Chivas Guadalajara on Tuesday; and a 1-0 defeat to NC Elite the following day.
Despite the two defeats, the opening victory was enough to see Argyle reach the Salver semi-final.
They return to Seahaven, Portstewart, which is the scene of their greatest ever SuperCupNI run a few years ago, when they lost to Brazilian side Corinthians in the semi-finals of the top competition.
The winners of the high noon showdown will take on either County Fermanagh or Strikers, who contest the other semi-final at Castlerock.
Should Argyle be victorious this afternoon, the final will take place at the end of the week.
