Peninsula Report - Camelford 0 Argyle 4

THE Pilgrims strolled to three points in their penultimate away game in the Peninsula League season in midweek.

Dan Rooney and Ben Steer both scored a brace, as Argyle proved too strong for Camelford under the lights at Trefrew Park. The pick of the goals came from Rooney, volleying a sweet strike into the corner after a decent team move.

Argyle play their final home against Witheridge at Coach Road on Tuesday night before the league season ends with a trip to Bodmin on April 8.

Our Peninsula focus then switches to a cup semi-final against St Austell on April 11 in a game to be played at Saltash United’s Kimberley Stadium – kick-off 7.30pm.
