Academy Preview - Exeter City
ARGYLE'S youth team are preparing themselves for their next match - a local derby - against Exeter’s under-18 team on Saturday, October 14.
The match was originally going to be a home fixture held at Tavistock's Langsford Park, but it has now been rearranged to an away fixture up hosted by the Grecians at the Cat and Fiddle in Exeter. Kick-off is at 11am and, as always, anyone who would like to come along and support the young Pilgrims are welcome.
Academy Director Kevin Hodges said: “This is the first game we have played against Exeter at this level and obviously there is a rivalry between the two clubs.
“We are looking forward to challenging ourselves.”
With a few injuries still ongoing for some of the youths, Hodges is making sure that he manages the team carefully, not only for their upcoming local derby but also for the Development side's Walter C Parsons Funeral Directors Cup tie, at home (Coach Road) to Millbrook on Friday night.
