Cullompton 4 Argyle 3

A VERY young Argyle side suffered a surprise Carlsberg South West Peninsula League loss at lowly Cullompton Rangers with the dismissal of Aaron Taylor being the turning-point of the encounter.

Bradley Kelly scored early for the hosts but Argyle found their rhythm with an Aaron Goulty equaliser, and then turned on the style with a superb individual effort from Ryan Law.

The Pilgrims were cruising when Alex Battle converted a penalty but an own goal from Callum Rose gave Cullompton hope and that turned into justified belief when Taylor was dismissed for a dangerous tackle.

Rangers had virtually the entire second half to make their numerical advantage pay and they deservedly levelled through Adam Kelly before Ashley Donohue rose highest to head home a dramatic winner.
