Argyle 2 Cullompton 0

CALUM Dyson took his goals tally for the week to four as Argyle chalked up another Carlsberg South West Peninsula League victory, beating Camelford 3-0 at Coach Road.

The big target man netted twice - and missed a later penalty which would have given him his hat-trick - to follow up an earlier Premier League double in a 5-0 win over Cullompton Rangers.

Dyson opened the scoring in the first half, when he tapped in from close range following good flank work by Gregg Wylde.

The ex Everton player came close to doubling his and the team's tally when he had a shot which remarkably hit both posts and stayed out, and Wylde and Alex Fletcher also went close before half-time.

The second goal came after the break, when Lionel Ainsworth supplied a cross to the far post which Dyson headed back across the goal and in.

Niall Canavan made it 3-0 when he headed home, centre of goal, from a Wylde corner and the rest of the match was about Dyson chasing his hat-trick.

He went close with a couple of headers before Fletcher was brought down in the penalty area, but Dyson missed the subsequent spot-kick.
