Encapsulating Argyle

WE will mark this week's excellent news of the signing of the agreement to start the main build of the Home Park grandstand development with a special ceremony during Saturday's opening home game of the season.

At half-time of the Sky Bet League One fixture against Southend United, chairman James Brent and supporter Lucy Bouch, 12, will present youth-team captain Tom Purrington with a time-capsule containing items representing current-era Argyle. 

Tom will then place the capsule in a hole on the Mayflower terrace amid the foundations of the new build, where it will remain to be dug up by a member of the Green Army in a future generation.
