ARGYLE Under-18s began the weekend celebrations of the club's Academy by beating Swindon Town 4-1 on Friday night.

The Young Pilgrims led their visitors 2-0 at half-time of the EFL Youth Alliance game played under the lights on Plymouth Marjon University's artificial pitch, thanks to goals from Luke Jephcott and Klaidi Lolos.

Second-half strikes from Rio Garside and Aaron Goulty saw them complete the victory.

On Saturday at Home Park, more than 100 young players who represent the Academy from the Under-9 to Under-18 age-groups will parade around the Theatre of Greens as the club recognises the achievements of its youth arm.
