Argyle 3 Bodmin 3

A YOUNG Argyle side succumbed to a second-half fight back as the Pilgrims drew 3-3 against Bodmin Town in their South West Peninsula League Premier Division fixture.

The Greens took a deserved lead at Coach Road as Matt Ward finished off an Argyle move and doubled their advantage when midfielder Cameron Sangster slotted home.

However, Bodmin pulled a goal back before half-time, leaving the game in the balance going into the break.

The Pilgrims further enhanced their advantage through full-back Ryan Law, but Bodmin responded immediately and piled on the pressure.

Town’s experience and pressure paid off as they snatched an equaliser to leave both teams have to settle for a point.
