March's Live Sport

AFTER Fantastic February at Home Park, your new home of live sport, we have Marvellous March – 24 games of football a month which culminates with Anthony Joshua’s World Heavyweight title-fight.

We are again opening the doors and the bars of the Tribute Legends Lounge and Players’ Lounge as we screen live televised football matches every weekend and throughout the week, from England internationals to clashes between Argyle’s Sky Bet League One rivals.

Right at the end of the month, on Saturday, March 31, we will be showing the biggest boxing bout of the year so far, when Anthony Joshua puts his IBF, WBA (Super) and IBO heavyweight titles on the line against WBO title-holder Joseph Parker in Road to Undisputed at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff.

The action kicks off this Saturday, with Premier League matches between Burnley and Everton and, then, Liverpool v Newcastle United sandwiching live radio commentary of Argyle’s important league visit to Rochdale.

A match between the Pilgrims’ promotion rivals Blackburn Rovers and Wigan Athletic begins a Sunday triple-header which also features the Premier League clashes between Brighton & Hove Albion and Arsenal, followed by Manchester City and Chelsea.

The weekend finishes on Monday night, when Crystal Palace host Manchester United in the Premier League. Then it is on to big Champions’ League games on Tuesday and Wednesday, involving PSG and Real Madrid, and Tottenham against Juventus.

This weekend is the beginning of another jam-packed month of live televised sport action at Home Park, with other highlights being England’ friendlies against the Netherlands, on Friday, March 23, and Italy, on Tuesday, March 27.

The best part of it is that admission to all the televised football games is absolutely free. The Joshua-Parker fight is, however, ticket-only.

You can find full details of when and where every game is being shown at www.pafc.co.uk/livesport.

And, if you want to enjoy a drink or two whole watching the sport, who not book yourself a Tower Cabs taxi to take you to and from Home Park?

You can call them on 01752 25 25 25, or visit their website, www.towercabs.co.uk.

However the best way to contact Tower Cabs is through their nifty little app which enables you to book your cab; save your favourite pick-up points; and track your vehicle in real time once the vehicle has been despatched. It will also show details of the vehicle, such as make and registration. It is available from iPhone and Android app stores or from http://app.lk/TowerCabs.
