Southend, Take One

ARGYLE play Southend United in the first of two matches against the Shrimpers this week, when we meet them on Tuesday at 2pm in a Central League fixture at Home Park.

The Greens play Southend with both teams in a similar position in the Central League table. Argyle currently sit fifth with four wins and three defeats from their seven games. Southend sit one place below Argyle in sixth with three wins, one draw and three defeats in their eight matches played.

Both sides are likely to field a mix of fringe players as well as young development players. The Pilgrims will look to kick on from their 4-0 victory over Swindon at the beginning of this month.

Then, on Good Friday, the two sides meet in Sky Bet League One action.

Will there be any clues in the Central League game? Supporters can find out as the game is open to the public. The Grandstand and the Disabled Enclosure will be open.

Admission prices: adult £4; over 65 £2; under 18 £1.
