PAUL Wotton’s move up the coaching ladder looks set to continue next season in Sky Bet League One.
Wotton, who has been First Team coach since hanging up his boots during the tenure of John Sheridan, is set to have a knew role under Derek Adams next season following the departure of Craig Brewster. There will also be a new role for Kevin Nancekivell in the coaching set up.
“I’m working towards promoting Paul Wotton from First Team Coach to Assistant Manager;, “said Derek. “Kevin Nancekivell will move from the youth department to First Team Coach. Discussions are ongoing and will be ongoing between myself, the Chairman and the employees to try and retain them for next year.”
Argyle legend Wotton made over 450 appearances for the club, has also been managing the Central League side this season. Nancekivell, one of the most qualified coaches in the country, was promoted from the youth set up to the First Team Coaching staff following Brewster’s departure.
