Argyle Youth 0 Yeovil 0
ARGYLE and Yeovil battled out a 0-0 draw in the EFL Youth Alliance at Tavistock on Saturday morning but this was far from a dull affair.
Yeovil came close to scoring inside the first minute but the Pilgrims hit back with a fantastic surge from Reuben Collum, who was denied a spectacular goal by the legs of Glovers’ glovesman Johnny Scott.
Aaron Goulty had an effort cleared off the line and Klaidi Lolos rifled narrowly wide, but the first-half action was completed by Harry Townsend producing two fine blocks in the Argyle goal.
Yeovil arguably edged the second period but they had no way past the Pilgrim defence and Rio Garside came close to snatching victory with a 25-yarder arrowed inches wide.
