Stick to Beat
THE first-team travel to Scunthorpe United on Saturday with a huge incentive to build on Tuesday’s excellent win over Gillingham in Sky Bet League One, but there is a lot more Pilgrim action closer to home.
It all starts on Friday night with a trip to Sticker in the Carlsberg South-West Peninsula League and Argyle seeking their fifth consecutive win in this competition to remain at least seven points clear at the top, although the chasing pack do have games in hand.
There is no game in the EFL Youth Alliance this weekend but Argyle Ladies do have a massive fixture at Southampton Women, as they travel to play at Blackfield and Langley’s ground for a rearranged second-round cup tie in the FA Women’s National League Cup, kick-off 2pm.
Argyle Ladies development side welcome Exeter and Tedburn Ladies in the FA South-West Women’s League Western Division. This fixture is also a 2pm kick-off on Sunday and played at Saltmill in Saltash.
