FGR in Central League
ARGYLE will travel to play Forest Green Rovers in the Central League on Tuesday. The game kicks-off at 1pm and will be staged at Stanley Park in Chippenham.
First-team coach Kevin Nancekivell has looked after the Central League fixtures this season but, given his elevation to the role of caretaker boss for the final game of the Sky Bet League One campaign at home to Scunthorpe on Saturday, Academy Director Kevin Hodges and coach Robbie Herrera will oversee tomorrow’s game.
The Pilgrims will take a young side to the game and currently sit fourth in the southern section of the Central League, while Forest Green Rovers are bottom of the pile in tenth.
Argyle could potentially go top with a win, if MK Dons lose to Peterborough and the Greens can achieve a four-goal swing in the goal difference comparison with the Dons.
