Ladies at Cardiff
ARGYLE Ladies are in a confident mood, as they head for South Wales to play Cardiff City on Sunday.
Argyle followed retaining the Devon Senior Cup against Buckland Athletic by coming away from Loughborough 40 hours later with a 4-2 in a National League Southern Premier Division match last weekend.
This means they have lost just one of their last ten league and cup matches, while Cardiff's defeat at new league champions Coventry United ended a ten-match winning run.
Argyle will be without the suspended Zoe Cunningham and Steph Beck, who is unavailable. The good news is that Ebony Dover, who went off injured when a Loughborough player trod on her hand, is included in the squad, as her hand is only bruised.
Included again are Cornish teenagers Tamsin Medd-Gill and Nicola Champion. The match is being played at the CCB Centre for Sporting Excellence in Ystrad Mynach, which is a 3G pitch.
