The Groovement Project

IN what is surely one the busiest match-days at Home Park this season, local dance ensemble The Groovement Project will be bringing a performance to the pitch at half-time.

The Groovement Project Dance Company is an award-winning dance company based near North Hill, a stone’s throw away from the Theatre of Greens, and is currently recognised as one of the most successful dance companies in the U.K. They strive to provide high level training and amazing opportunities for young people to perform and compete nationally and internationally.

They are currently fundraising in aid of a trip planned for October 2020, in which they are aiming to take a group of young people to Hollywood, for an opportunity of a lifetime to train and perform in some of the world’s grandest venues, alongside elite dancers.

There will be a bucket collection taking place around the ground during Saturday’s Sky Bet League One clash against Charlton, and any donations would be gratefully received by the troupe.

For more information on the company, and the work it does, search ‘The Groovement Project’ on Facebook.
