Argyle v Leyton Orient - the Line-Up

ARGYLE entered the Carabao Cup first-round fixture against Leyton Orient with a new striking partnership in the form of Ryan Taylor and Dom Telford.

Manager Ryan Lowe stayed true to his word in selecting a strong Home Park starting 11 as the Pilgrims looked to at least match their second-round showing in the competition last season.

Rather than make wholesale changes from the side that has won both of their Sky Bet League Two fixtures this season, Lowe opted for five switches - one of which was enforced through the injury of Joel Grant.

Alongside Taylor and Telford, there were first starts of the season for goalkeeper Mike Cooper and Conor Grant - as well as a debut for Chelsea loanee Josh Grant.

Alex Palmer, Scott Wootton, Colchester match-winner Antoni Sarcevic and Byron Moore all dropped to the bench, while Klaidi Lolos replaced the injured Joel Grant in the 18.
