ARGYLE have been drawn at home to Reading from the Championship in the second round of the Carabao Cup.

The Pilgrims got their reward following a 2-0 win over Leyton Orient on Tuesday evening and ticket details for this game to be played in the week commencing August 26 will be announced in due course.

Argyle last met the Royals in the EFL Cup first round in 2016, losing 2-0 at the Madejski Stadium. 

Reading's previous visit to Home Park came in December 2009 in the Championship and Argyle ran out 4-1 winners. Alan Judge scored twice, with Kari Arnason and Ashley Barnes also on target for the Greens.
