WE are delighted to announce that Argyle have teamed up with services charity Tickets For Troops to provide a number of free tickets to servicemen and women, alongside their families, this season.
As a part of our agreement with the charity, Argyle will provide 25 free tickets to serving members of Her Majesty’s Armed Forces, as well as selected other characteristics, for each of our 23 home Sky Bet League Two games this season.
The charity was set up to provide the opportunity for troops who serve in HM Armed Forces - alongside those who have been medically discharged post-2001 - to attend events with their friends and family all over the country.
As a club with a proud military heritage, as well as our Vision and Values, which underpins the club’s role as a force for good in the community, we are delighted to partner with Tickets For Troops.
William Campbell-Lamerton, Director of Operations at Tickets For Troops, said: “It is fantastic to sign up Argyle as a supporter of Tickets For Troops. Plymouth has a fantastic Naval presence, and I am sure lots of our members will be heading to Home Park this season. We are both delighted and grateful for their support.”
In July 2019, Tickets For Troops marked ten years since it was first established and, in that time, the charity has distributed over 1.4 million tickets to members of HM Armed Forces to attend events all around the UK.
If you fit any of the characteristics outlined above, you can register your interest in Argyle games, alongside many other events up and down the country, by visiting www.ticketsfortroops.org.uk
