Walsall Mascots

ARGYLE would like to welcome siblings Samuel and Abigail Dean and their family as they lead the side out for our Sky Bet League Two clash with Walsall on Saturday at Home Park.

Both Samuel, 8, and Abigail, 4, are football mad. Samuel travelled all the way down from Surrey to watch the the Greens take on Salford on Tuesday night. He’s a huge Argyle fan and has visited Home Park many times over the past few years, and also attended any away games close to his hometown in Surrey.

He wears his Argyle kit with pride and often keeps his friends updated on how The Pilgrims are getting on. When he’s not following Argyle, Samuel is an avid football player himself and really enjoys practicing his celebrations in his spare time – maybe we will get to enjoy them on a regular basis in front of the Green Army one day.

Samuel’s sister Abigail has visited the Theatre of Greens once before and her favourite part was seeing Pilgrim Pete get up to his usual mischief. Her favourite Argyle player is Tafari Moore because she loves his long hair, but deep down her favourite footballer is her brother. She loves cheering and singing songs about the Green Army just before bedtime and she is very excited about being a mascot.

Have a great time with us on Saturday.
