Weekend Mascots

AHEAD of Saturday’s match, we are getting to know our two of our mascots that will be walking out alongside the starting 11, ahead of kick off, against Colchester United in Sky Bet League Two.

Our first mascot is called Ben. He is eight years-old and plays for his local team AFC Plympton and is a described by his Dad as a “football fanatic.” He has spent the last two and a half years on the Plymouth Argyle Player Pathway and is joining the Centre of Excellence in September.

He has attended numerous Argyle Community Trust days and absolutely loved taking part in the Christmas Cracker last December with members of the first-team squad.

He is really excited to be a mascot for the first time on Saturday. He is also bringing two of his school friends along to watch the match, so is hoping for another Argyle win to make his experience even more fantastic.

Our second mascot is Oscar. It will be Oscar’s fifth birthday on the day of the match, so an Argyle win would really top of his day, alongside the mascot package that was bought for him as a birthday treat.

Oscar is football, and specifically Argyle crazy, and loves coming to watch the Argyle games with his Dad, so he knows that being a mascot will be such an exciting experience for him.

We look forward to welcoming both Ben and Oscar to their special day at Home Park, and hope that they both enjoy the mascot experience.
