Fadz Fitness

CALLUM McFadzean remains hopeful of being involved in the weekend trip to Cambridge United in Sky Bet League Two.

Fadz hobbled out of the FA Cup draw at Bristol Rovers last Sunday after injuring his knee and was replaced to Conor Grant, continuing his own recovery from recent injury.

Argyle assistant manager Steven Schumacher confirmed that Fadz is back in training and it will be a case of ongoing assessment to see if he is going to be fit enough to take the field at Cambridge.

“Fadz is training with us, he took a nasty whack on his knee but he’s going to come out and give it a go,” said Schuey.

“Credit to him, he’s still a bit sore but that’s the type of lad he is, because he knows if he comes out of the team, there are people behind him, ready to take his spot.

“Conor Grant did great when he came on [at Bristol Rovers] and helped us going forward. Apart from that, we’re fit and healthy and we’ll see how we go.”
