The Weekend Action
ARGYLE will be battling across three fronts this weekend, with home games against Coventry and Watford, and a trip to Forest Green Rovers.
First in action will be the Academy youngsters, who travel to FGR on Saturday morning for a meeting in the EFL Youth Alliance and the priority will be getting some goals after dominating the previous three games without finding the net.
The first-team then host Coventry City in Sky Bet League One and the objective will be to secure a third successive victory and consolidate a fine start to 2019.
On Sunday, Argyle Ladies hope to get back to winning ways when they receive third-placed Watford in the FA Women’s National League Southern Premier Division. The match will be played at Marjon (University of St Mark and St John) and admission is free – kick-off is midday.
Argyle’s Development team face a tricky FA Women’s South West-League Western Division encounter at second-placed Bideford. Argyle beat Bideford 4-1 in the home match and a win in North Devon will keep them on track to win the league.
