EFL Trophy Draw

Pilgrims Grouped with Robins and Rovers

ARGYLE have been drawn in Group F of the EFL Trophy for 2019-20, pitting us against Swindon Town, Bristol Rovers and one further invited club.

Each group currently contains three EFL Clubs with a Category 1 Academy ‘invited Club’ completing the group by means of draw. This draw will take place on Friday, July 12, 2019, live on Talksport at approximately 12.30pm.

The EFL Trophy group stage is divided into Northern and Southern sections, with eight groups in each section. Argyle, Bristol Rovers and Swindon Town will see their group completed by either one of the following eight invited teams when the next phase of the draw is carried out on Friday.

Arsenal
Brighton & Hove Albion
Chelsea
Fulham
Norwich City
Southampton
Tottenham Hotspur
West Ham United

Each EFL club will play two group games at home, with the invited clubs playing all three of their group games away. The top two teams from each will progress to the knock-out rounds.
