Ladies' Fixtures
ARGYLE Ladies will kick off-their 2019-20 campaign with two tough away fixtures at Crawley and Gillingham FA Women’s Premier League Southern Division.
We start with a visit to Crawley Wasps, who gained promotion from the South East League Division One. Argyle were knocked out 5-3 after extra time against Crawley in the National League Cup last season.
Crawley went on to lose 3-0 against Blackburn Rovers in the final and they also reached the fourth round of the FA Cup before going down 4-0 against Super League champions Arsenal, so it will be a difficult opening game.
Next up is the visit to Gillingham, who we beat 4-1 away last season. This is followed by two juicy home matches against Keynsham Town, who were promoted from Division One South West and Yeovil Town, who have dropped down two tiers after being relegated from the Super League. Argyle end the season on May 10 at home to Watford.
The Ladies begin their pre-season campaign of fixtures with a game against the Royal Navy at RNAS Yeovilton – kick-off 7pm.
