ARGYLE Ladies return to training on Monday and the club’s Development team have drawn the short straw at the South West Women's League AGM on Wednesday in Exeter, which proved to be a lively meeting.

Unfortunately, Plymouth Argyle Development, who won the Western Division are unable to be promoted this season due to FA rules. They finished top of a Western Division of 11 clubs but now find themselves in a division of seven, meaning clubs will play each other three times.

Bideford, who finished third, are promoted to the Premier Division, while second place Plympton stay where they are. As it stands, Argyle are up against Alphington, Bude Town, Exeter & Tedburn Rangers, Feniton, Plympton and St Agnes.

The constitution is still not ratified or voted on due to Forest Green Rovers raising an objection to their placing in the Eastern Division, even though they are one of the furthest north. It was announced by the new incoming Chairman that there will be four league cups played by each team in their respective division: Premier Division League Cup / Western Division League Cup / Eastern Division League Cup / Eastern Division League Cup.
