Law to Truro

DEFENDER Ryan Law has joined Truro City on an initial 28-day youth loan.

The 19 year-old defender – a second-year professional at Home Park – joins the BetVictor Southern Premier League side in readiness for the start of the new season.

Ryan made his only senior appearance so far for the Pilgrims in last season’s Checkatrade Trophy group stages, when current Treyew Road boss Paul Wotton was assistant-manager at Argyle.

Although the Greens had nothing to play for that evening, the Academy graduate will always savour his debut at Rodney Parade against Newport County, which the hosts won 2-0.

Outside of the first team, the left-back has performed well in the Central League and Premier League Cup.
