Torquay v Argyle Pre-Season Friendly July 2019 teams
NEW signing Alex Palmer made his debut at Torquay United on Tuesday night, less than six hours after signing for the Pilgrims
The 22 year-old West Brom goalkeeper - on a season-long loan at Home Park - lined up at Plainmoor for Argyle's third game of pre-season as manager Ryan Lowe again selected his preferred 3-5-2 formation.
Midfielder Danny Mayor, who injured an ankle in the previous Saturday's 2-0 win at Plymouth Parkway, was conspicuous only by his absence from the squad.
Joel Grant was handed Mayor's No.10 role, with Antoni Sarcevic, rested at the weekend, his central midfield partner.
Joe Edwards was also back in harness, taking the place of Adam Randell, and the line was led by Klaidi Lolos, scorer of the second goal at Bolitho Park, and Dom Telford, the most recent of Lowe's outfield signings.
