New Training Partner

TO ‘PAFC’, add another couple of initials this season: BD.

BD, or Beaumont Drylining, to use the company’s full name, are sponsoring Argyle’s training-wear this season.

Their distinctive logo, which was first seen on an Argyle shirt during the Pilgrims’ Emirates FA Cup run last season, will adorn the PUMA tops won by Ryan Lowe, his staff and the Argyle players during 2019-20.

Jamie Beaumont has built up the company, which specialises in internal fit-outs of buildings, and he could not be more delighted in continuing his growing support for Argyle.

“I’m Plymouth born and bred, so it is an amazing opportunity,” he said. “I am really excited about it.”

Jamie’s association with the club started at our 2018 Golf Day, when Beaumont Drylining entered a team into the popular springtime event.

He progressed to a Pilgrim Partnership and advertising board last season, as well as breaking new ground when Beaumont Drylining became Argyle’s first sleeve sponsor for our FA Cup campaign.

“We’re a drylining outfit, based in Plymouth but cover the whole of the South West,” said Jamie. “We build all the walls, ceilings and bulkheads internally, plasterboard it, get it up to the stage of decoration.”

As well as sponsoring this season’s training-wear, Jamie has enrolled as one of our 102 inaugural Pioneer members, and is looking forward to the season after the previous term’s disappointments.

He said: “Even though we got relegated, I think we have got an amazing opportunity now – a completely different position: a new Board; a great new manager; new signings coming through. I think there are good times ahead.”

Good times for Argyle and for Beaumont Drylining, whose name will reach an audience the length and breadth of the country over the next 10 months.

“It’s brand awareness, making my company more established,” said Jamie. “It’s giving something back. I enjoy it. All my friends and the people who work for me are more involved with Plymouth Argyle now. It’s fantastic.

“Seeing the name on the gear is a massive proud moment for me. Massive.”

The new 2019-20 training range is available on line from www.argylesuperstore.co.uk and in the Home Park Superstore from Monday at 9am.

Supporters can rock the official staff and players’ look by buying the Beaumont Drylining logo as an upgrade, priced £2.50 for the large size and £2 for small.
