Ryan's Privilege
NEW Argyle boss Ryan Lowe is settling into life in Plymouth and expressed his immense pride to be the manager of our football club.
The Liverpudlian began pre-season training with his Pilgrims on Thursday and has already felt the warm welcome of the magnificent Green Army.
His family will come down to sample the Plymouth lifestyle this weekend and Ryan already has one eye on his first taste of Home Park as manager of Argyle.
“I’m settling in, I’ve been a busy bee,” he said. “I came down Tuesday and lots of late nights on the phone, but the missus and the kids are coming down on the weekend, which will be good.
“I’m really looking forward to it, had some nice meals down the Barbican and privileged to be the manager of Argyle. I am privileged with the way people have spoken to me and the fans asking for pictures with them.
“It is a privilege to be a manager of this football club and it will probably hit home a bit more on July 27, when we play Bristol Rovers at home. That will be my first game and I can really get to grips with the Green Army.
“That will be a big day for me and I’m excited, really looking forward to the challenge. I am really excited for the forthcoming season and we’ll do our work, get our lads fit, strong and in the right place.”
