Jephers Journey
ARGYLE forward Luke Jephcott has returned from the UEFA European Under-19 qualifying tournament having played in all three games for Wales Under-19s.
Jephers was a starter in the last-gasp defeat to hosts Holland in the first game and also for the 5-1 loss to an imperious Spain team in the second game. The young Pilgrim then came on as a substitute in the final game for Wales, a 3-0 defeat to Slovenia.
Despite the disappointing final outcome for Wales, it would have been a tremendous experience for Jephcott and can only be beneficial to his progress as we enter the final stages of the current season.
Academy striker Klaidi Lolos was also at the tournament as part of the Greece squad, although he was unable to break into a Greek side that narrowly missed out on qualification.
