THE final game of the Sky Bet League One season is almost upon us and midfielder David Fox says everyone knows their jobs for Saturday’s crucial fight against Scunthorpe United at Home Park.

Foxy recognises that results in the last few weeks have been not up to scratch and that is something we simply have to be put right tomorrow. 

“Everyone knows what’s at stake; we know what we need to do,” said Fox. “We know our job in terms of the result we need. 

“That’s about it, it’s as important as any other and we have unfortunately got ourselves into a position where it comes down to one game. We are still in with a shout, we have to take everything we have and make sure we leave it on the pitch on Saturday.”

Although we must rely on other results falling our way, Foxy feels that the only thing we should concentrate on is winning our own game first.

“It’s never easy when you are relying on other people,” he said. “We know we have to do a job, we have known for six, seven, eight weeks that we have a job to do and we haven’t done that.

“You can’t keep looking at other things; we haven’t been good enough in the last few weeks. We’re in a situation where it’s not on us. It’s no different on Saturday because we need to win and we have not done that for long enough. It’s all about us, first and foremost, we have to get the win ourselves.”
