Close Quarters

THE Argyle coaching staff enjoyed their first taste of the new Home Park dug-outs for Saturday’s victory over Bradford City in Sky Bet League Two.

Manager Ryan Lowe joked they were very close to the opposing dug-out and the tactics board will need to remain hidden, but the overriding view is one of excitement as we step ever nearer to the completion of the Grandstand project.

“They are close [to the opposition] but we don’t mind that because we’re not an aggressive staff, looking to get involved with the opposition,” said Ryan.

“There might be the odd heated moment now and again but that’s what you expect. We might just put the tactics stuff on the far side, so they can’t see anything.

“They are lovely and it [Grandstand] all looked the part. The staff have all been walking past and taking pictures because it looks amazing.”
